More and more, companies are requiring that their employees or applicants have college degrees. Twenty years ago, having a college degree was not as urgent or as important as it seems to be today. What is interesting is to see how many college graduates end up in careers that they majored in. I’m a prime example. I have a degree in criminal justice and I am a writer for a newspaper now. Trust me, I never dreamed that would happen. However, my employer didn’t seem to notice that my degree had nothing to do with writing articles, they simply noticed that I had a college degree and that satisfied them.
