The cover letter is the first thing which creates an impression of you; and if it is invisible then so are you. Your cover letter might as well be invisible if it doesn’t command the attention of the reader. If you follow the same tired old cover letter formula that so many people seem to want to hang on to then you’ll get the same result that they get. You go unnoticed and end up like Mr. Cellophane in the musical “Chicago”.
The way for your cover letter to be invisible is for it to be so similar to so many others that it simply doesn’t get seen. The Eurozone unemployment in increase to its highest level 11.7% in October as per figures published by Eurostat. While the Eurozone’s unemployment rate has been increasing since June 2011, the unemployment in the U.S. has fallen to below 8%.
About 18.7 million people were unemployed across the Eurozone, up 173,000 from the previous month. Spain and Greece are most affected with over 25%, with 60% of jobless youth; such numbers can have a negative impact in the long run. A Hedge Fund is private investment fund which provides a hedge against market conditions and tries to make profit from buying/selling hedged positions. The Hedge Fund is not simple in practice. On a global basis there is over a trillion dollars of private investment capital that can literally invest in any commodity, currency indeses and stocks and bonds. Unlike traditional investing the Hedge Fund may go long or short the market. It is private equity and therefore the gains on transactions for fund owners is taxed differently that normal capital gains taxes.
A typical Hedge Fund is formed by individual investors who have a stake in the fund. The buy-in is in the millions. Noted Hedge Fund owners are George Soros and the Blackstone Group founded by Peter G. Peterson and Stephen A. Schwarzman. The Blackstone Group is a fairy tale. The Blackstone Group was founded by Peter G. Peterson and Stephen A. Schwarsman. According to the Blackstone Group corporate biography the iniital private funds in 1985 were $400,000.
