Five Pillars of Marketing Success

Does the following give a pretty good picture of your current marketing activity?

You have a website but you’re not really satisfied with it. You go to networking events once in awhile. If someone asks you to give a talk, you’re happy to do it. You post on Facebook and/or LinkedIn semi-regularly. When you find the time, you send an article to those on your relatively small email list. You occasionally set up meetings with colleagues to explore opportunities.

Now there’s nothing wrong with any of those marketing activities. And usually, they will result in landing some new clients. But this is not the approach that works to get a steady, predictable stream of new clients.

Please don’t tune me out here, thinking, “Well, I really can’t do more than this. I’m already stretched thin. If you give me too much to do I’ll get overwhelmed.”

I agree. It’s not that you need to do more marketing, it’s that you need to shift your marketing paradigm from one of “Randomness” to one that is “Focused.” Continue reading

6 Key Steps To Becoming The Best Possible Leader

Although, many seem to seek, a position of leadership, few become the best – possible leaders! After, over four decades, of involvement, in nearly, everything, involved, with leading, from identifying and qualifying, to, training, developing and consulting to thousands of actual, and/ or, potential leaders, as well as, serving, personally, as a leader, on several occasions, I realize, one of the reasons, for this apparent, lack of/ dearth of, genuine leadership, is, far – too many groups, ignore (or fail to recognize), the importance of taking, seriously, consistently, using, a customized, professionally – designed, training program! With, that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, 6 key steps, needed, to becoming, the best leader, possible.

1. Know, and understand, the organization’s niche, history, heritage, etc: A smart, first – step, is to fully understand, the specific organization’s niche, history, and heritage, and its relevance, in – terms – of, what matters, most, in the shorter, and longer – terms! Without this knowledge, and understanding, how can any leader, hope to, and/ or, expect, to get – through, to his past, present, and potential stakeholders?

2. Identify the group’s strengths, and weaknesses: What are the specific group’s strengths, and weaknesses, and what are the causes/ reasons, for this? How can every strength, be effectively, used, to its maximum potential, while comprehensively, addressing, areas of weakness, and/ or, potential areas? What are the obstacles, and which, may be transformed, to an obstacle, rather than a problem?

3. Expand your personal comfort zone: Wise, effective leaders, proactively, expand their personal comfort zones, rather than limit themselves, by considering, only, the same – old, same – old, approaches, etc! It is essential to put service and representing others, ahead of any personal/ political agenda, self – interest, and/ or, protecting his comfort zone!

4. Listen effectively/ learn/ Empathy: Only, when one, effectively listens, and learns, from every conversation and experience, and gains greater, relevant, expertise, with the objective of obtaining better judgment, and, hopefully, wisdom, his potential to be a better leader, is enhanced! Great leaders proceed, with genuine empathy, and use it, to determine their emphasis!

5. Strategic and action plans: Great leadership requires knowledge, experience, commitment, and discipline, and realizing, strategic planning, is essential, to making a difference, for the better! This must then, be transformed, to perceiving and conceiving of, creating, and implementing, the finest – possible, action plans!

6. Articulate an inspiring, motivating message: When one uses the first – five steps, and then, proceeds, to articulate, an inspiring, motivating message, he maximizes his chances, to become, the best possible leader!

Do you want to become a great leader? Are you up the necessary tasks, etc?

Health Disparities have these properties to negatively impact various subsets of the population as it has systematically experienced multiple layers of socio-economic obstacles to health. It should always be remembered that health care providers should work collaboratively to attain certain goals to mitigate gaps that existed between healthcare.

According to experts, internal professional collaboration is needed for healthcare providers to support patients and minimize the existing health disparities in public health (Vanderbilt, Dail, & Jaberi, 2015). If we take into account United States, then we can find that the health population marks an uneven continuum, ranging from healthy to unhealthy dimensions.

It should be noted that the healthcare system widely relies on factors like income, race, and geographical location. 5 Healthcare – Related Issues To Consider!

Overview

Isn’t it, about time, our public officials, started to prioritize life, living, quality – of – life, and public health, and safety, instead of the many, petty, partisan issues, they seem to focus – on?

Should we have a healthcare system, which is based – on, not only, what is referred to, as access to care, but, rather, to affordability, and availability, instead? Instead, too many politicians, tend to frame their discussions, on, politics, political rhetoric, and appealing to their core supporters (or, what they perceive, as so), perhaps, because it seems (to them), as being, the path of least resistance, etc!

Although, many factors/ issues/ obstacles, etc, are related to this process, and how we deliver, and perceive of, healthcare, this article will, instead, attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, 5 healthcare – related issues/ challenges/ obstacles/ options/ paths, to consider.

1. Maintain existing system/ mostly private:

Some, state, our present system, is the way – forward, because, it is based on capitalism, and most others, are socialist! However, what we presently have, adds – to, the ever – expanding,

2 America’s, with the haves, and have – nots, based on an individual’s ability to pay, and afford treatment! Some individuals, either, don’t receive, all the possible options, alternatives, and/ or, treatments, because they can’t pay for it! Should access to, and availability, of the finest, possible care, be based on the ability to pay?

2. Medicare – for – all:

Some propose, what is referred to, as, Medicare – for – all, where healthcare, is, centralized, into a public, instead of private one!

Although, it resolves, the concept of, unequal treatment, it might not, create the best system! Would the reduced fees, probably, paid, to physicians, and other health workers, deter some, from entering, and/ or, remaining in that field? Although, supporters state, everyone likes their Medicare, is, that, in – fact, true?

They, also, claim, it is the most affordable approach, but, when, one calculates, what he pays – into the system, during his entire work – life, in payroll – deductions, and, then, the monthly charges, for Part B, and prescription drugs, and an Advantage Plan, limits one’s choices, for physicians, etc, and, the ever – rising costs, and recent, financial challenges, Medicare, faces, is it really, free?

3. More options:

How can we, possibly, balance, the cost – factors, in relationship, to quality care? How will we balance, paying healthcare workers, what they deserve, and, the finest system?

4. Address prescription prices:

The cost of many prescription drugs, rises, and, for many of these, Americans pay, much more, than, nearly, anywhere, else, for the identical drugs! We must take politics, and the political influence of the pharmaceutical industry, out – of – the – equation, and make a real attempt, to improve this obstacle, in a realistic, workable manner!

5. Difference between access to, and availability of affordable care/ treatment:

Beware, when some claim, we already, provide, access to treatments, etc, there is a real difference, between, mere – access, and, actual, availability of the best treatments, for – all!

Improving healthcare, for – all, is a challenging issue, which requires, thinking – outside – the – box, and a willingness, to proceed, with objective – pragmatism, to achieve a meeting – of – the – minds, for the greater – good! If we don’t, we are saying, health, is not an American right, and, wouldn’t that be a horrible, statement, at the current – state of affairs, in this nation?
